It opened up the sound space. The difference was not night and day but very noticable. I had earlier tried to add a power amp to my AVR which costed more than 1lac and to my ears there difference between the two is negligible. Very easily recommended. Only down side is the heat they generate, They get so hot that you cannot hold them in your hand after 1-2 hours of usage.
