This lamp works great. It’s just as pictured. Easy to assemble and attach to your workspace. Cord length is perfect & the on/off switch is fairly close to the lamp base to easily switch it on/off. Being metal, I thought it would get hot with use. It doesn’t; just slightly warm at the very top of the shade after hours of use.Only downside was that I thought it swiveled a little at the base, but only the shade portion swivels (which is good enough). Also it arrived with a screw loose and the other completely out in the light socket area. Plus some scratches on the shade. But overall, I’m very happy with it!

    It's decent for the money

What came out of the box wasn't what was depicted. The mounting solution is very primitive compared to others that have a clamp. When I first plugged it in it didn't come on. I swapped bulbs and sockets out to make sure it wasn't just me. After getting frustrated I clicked the switch back and fourth about 10 times and it finally came on. I guess the actuator inside the switch was just stiff. It doesn't swivel like I thought it would probably 30 degrees full range. Either way it serves it's purpose.

I am sure the light will work well for some but I do not need a light that cannot swivel side to side.  If you need one to move one direction it probably will be fine.  Returned unit.
