They were a bit too short, however, I returned these and ordered the next size up and they fit well, are comfortable and very supportive, and my Father (he's 93) can put them on and take them off without assist. They are a bit heavier than a true slipper, but he is getting used to that. When he has them on he doesn't have the heel pain he had been experiencing. I have hard to fit feet. Wide. I ordered the same length of shoe as my foot is. Usually, I order a half size bigger but another reviewer said they run slightly big so I went with my regular size and width and they fit perfect. The soles are good and sturdy. I just needed something to walk around the house and to slip on. I would not recommend wearing outside and going down steps if you are suffering from neuropathy only because you would need to be very careful without a back.So now that I ordered these I am thinking about ordering that type with the back for wearing out.I bought the used like new and they were a real bargain!! So happy to find a sturdy well fitting shoe.
