Thanks** A: It holds about 100ml **Q: Can the top part be used in the microwave say for instance I wanted to use it for porridge** A: Not sure but I don't think I'd chance it. **Q: Can you use the milk half independently of the cereal container, ie Do they have separate lids?** A: Only the top has a separate lid. The top acts as a lid to the bottom by screwing on. I wouldn't recommend this product any way as after a few weeks of use the bottom would easily come loose leading to a very milky handbag **Q: I'm looking for a container that doesn't leak as I transport milk & cereal in a backpack - so far all containers I had leak a bit- is that leakproof?** A: I've never had any leakage from this product, I've transported different consistencies of liquid e.g milk, yoghurt, even houmous.
