My green cheek conure Kiwi, love shredding things. Papers, coconut husk, wood, etc. This is perfect for him. He literally would stand on it and make a big mess . It keep him busy and entertain during the day. I just vacuum the pieces up when he's done with it for the day. I don't think this will last long. My budgies don't pick at it, well, they use it as a perch more.

This is a decent toy if you're looking for something your birds can chew up & destroy, mine really enjoyed it. With my 5 parakeets it hardly lasted 3 days, however. If you're wanting to use this as a platform I wouldn't bother, it won't be around for long. All in all, not a great perch/platform but a great toy to fulfill that destructive need for my 'keets.

You won’t be able to clean this perch but if it gets gross, you can toss it and it’s just corrugated cardboard. So you don’t have to worry about the materials filling the landfill. The paper cardboard waves are dense and very sturdy. I would compare it to a cat scratching board (but better). There is a simple wing nut connection and you’re up and ready. I would definitely recommend this neat perch for a hamster, mouse, gerbil or bird.

My cockatiels haven't discovered this perch yet but I have faith that they'll love it when they do. I'm going to hide seed in some of the grooves and watch them have fun!
