Unfortunately we've had a couple of break ins within the estate I live in over the past 2 weeks so my wife and I decided to add some deterrents to the house. Not needing a mega expensive system but one that can do the job I came across this item, the reviews were very good and some of the pictures provided by previous purchases helped.Having now installed it onto the facias of my house and giving it a few days to see how it works I've got to say i'm very happy. For £150 its working great - sometimes the refresh rate can be a bit jumpy but i've found that it's settled down after leaving it on for a few days. The picture quality is excellent both in day and night mode and being able to view live images via the phone app is superb.Some of the negatives are: Instructions aren't as simple as they could be but there's an excellent video on YouTube from the makers of the CCTV system which is much better to follow. The power cables that come on the camera are a little short - I had to get into the attic and feed the power cable back to my father in law who was outside up the ladder - they could do with being a few meters in length just for ease of installation. Other than that it was well worth the money.One point I have to make though which was surprising was how good the Customer Service was. I'd inadvertently removed the Wi-Fi IP address from the cameras when turning off all the power in the house to work on the electrics, I emailed them with some pictures and within a few hours i'd have a reply on how to fix the issue, really was excellent.

Works well!Cameras screw on and adjust easily.Camera power cables could be longer that's one issue, would prefer connector inside but managed it in end.App works good on Android phone but tablet requires obscure app and the windows pc way is a bit crap but ok.The DVR is good has enough functionality.Good overall kit for price just remember camera power cable routing!!WiFi range is awesome goes throughout house easily.Buy without HDD and get a proper surveillance grade HDD Seagate 1tb is £43

Great piece of equipment would have got 5 stars if IPC router had stronger signal

Interface could be easier to use, small screen should be part of the deal.
