Remove the protective red paper from the double-sided tape on the right bracket. 3. Install the bracket on the top right of the washer so that the rear bracket tab rests against the back of the top and the side tabs rest against the sides of the top. Press firmly on the front of the bracket to adhere the tape. Attach the rear of the bracket to the top of the machine using one of the screws included with the stacking kit. Repeat these steps for the left bracket. 4. With the help of another person, lift the dryer onto the washer so that the rear feet are against the rear of the bracket. Slide the dryer back until the rear feet engage with the bracket. 5. Install the front cross bracket between the side brackets. Make sure the protrusions on the bracket cover the front feet of the dryer to secure it in place. Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the cross brackets, one screw on each side. Do not use the stacking kit with a gas dryer in a situation where it may be unstable.
