SHE ALSO DEVELOPED A FROZEN SHOULDER BECAUSE SHE WAS MAINLY IMMOBILE FOR 3 MONTHS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE DECEMBER 4, 2025! I HAPPEN TO BE A PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND HAVE FOUGHT FOR EVERY DEGREE OF MOTION IN THAT SHOULDER. HER SLING WAS DISCONTINUED AND I FINALLY GOT THE OK TO PERFORM RANGE OF MOTION OF HER SHOULDER. I PURCHASED THIS OVER THE DOOR PULLEY SYSTEM TO AID IN INCREASING RANGE OF MOTION, AND TO GIVE SOME INDEPENDENCE TO MY MOM SINCE SHE HAS BEEN DICTATED TO FOR 3 MONTHS. IT HAS PROVEN TO BE INVALUABLE!! FIRST LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS PULLEY ITSELF. THE HANDLES AND CUSHIONED AND HELP IN PERFORMANCE OF USE BECAUSE YOUR HANDS ARE COMFORTABLE AND YOU CAN GRIP IT VERY TIGHTLY. THERE IS A SQUEAK NOISE, BUT THAT IS MINUTIAE COMPARED TO ITS GREAT USE. IT GIVES NO RESISTANCE TO THE MOTION, IT IS SMOOTH, WHICH IS ESSENTIAL. IT IS AN EASY BUT NECESSARY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. ****THIS IS A QUALITY ITEM, AND I WOULD EVEN USE IT IN MY PT OFFICE**** THUS FAR, AND WE STARTED AT ABOUT 85 DEGREES OF FORWARD FLEXION. SHE IS CURRENTLY AT 128 DEGREES. THAT IS PRETTY SIGNIFICANT AND I KNOW THAT THE PULLEY HAS MADE ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE. ALTHOUGH I DO NOT BELIEVE SHE WILL HAVE FULL RANGE OF MOTION, BUT SHE WILL GET WITHIN A HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL RANGE THAT ALLOWS HER TO PERFORM HER BASIC NEEDS SUCH AS TEETH BRUSHING, CARING FOR HER HAIR, AND COOKING. MY MOM IS 80 YEARS OLD AND THIS HAS BEEN A HARROWING EXPERIENCE, AND QUITE A LONG PROCESS, BUT WE ARE FINALLY IN THE LAST LEG OF THIS JOURNEY. ***THE PULLEY SYSTEM MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN HER RANGE OF MOTION AS WELL AS HER GAINING MORE INDEPENDENCE. SHE USES THE PULLEYS AS MANY TIMES OF DAY AS SHE CHOOSES. IN THIS PERIOD OF TIME SHE HAS BEEN DICTATED TO BASICALLY BUT IN A NICE WAY, BUT WITH THE PULLEYS, SHE HAS FOUND SOME INDEPENDENCE AND IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.
