I needed a very small sander/buffer that was battery powered and handheld. The unit is very solid feeling, not too heavy, not too light. The accessories that come with it are comprehensive and useful. I thought it would be rather loud, as other units I've considered, it is reasonably quiet, even under load. The unit fits in my hand nicely, except I am adjusting the speed where I hold it. The variable speed control is easy to use, plus/minus. I wish there was a display of the speed, from low to high, a number, something. The feeling of the unit is solid, and feels like it will hold up. So far, so good, I am just using it to polish headlights right now. The power seems reasonable for the size of the battery, the weight of the unit, just do not press hard on it. Overall, I like the unit and will be using it over the next few months for polishing, and perhaps small spot sanding.Update: I was incorrect. There is a digital speed indicator on the unit. I just didn't see it in bright sunlight.
