It came in a clear package that zips at the top for putting away later on. The material is soft breathable but feels like a wash cloth towel. To me it had a lot of extra room on my mattress pad that I had to tug in. While I did try it on the bassinet we never got to use it and test the water resistance due to the fact my baby hated the bassinet and I got rid of the bassinet immediately. I did return this product not because it was bad but it was because I had no use for it as my baby decided for us she hates the bassinet. If your baby loves this particular bassinet take my review with a grain of salt. Give this product a try. I believe it’s worth the money.
