But I wasn't looking for podcast level mic or anything that had a mixer board involved. I saw that this mic is a USB and it is exactly what I needed! One thing that you should pay attention to is how easy you can mute this microphone by moving it or just brushing up near it. That's my only grip about it (that's a lie. More below). Other than that it's a damn good microphone and now everyone tells me that I sound crystal clear and that makes it worth it! The app you have to download is pretty straightforward and easy to use. The stand it comes with is pretty solid for a desk stand. To my SECOND grip.....the USB they provide you with is like a foot long. Be prepared to buy a longer USB cord. Oh BTW I don't have to have this mic 2 inches away from my mouth. I can have it up to 16" away from my face before the sound starts to fade.
