Simply get yourself a sealable zip bag & store it for ready for next time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good for car washing and polishing *by V***Y on 31 August 2017* good for car washing and polishing. easy to use in ladys hand and quite large so would easily suit mans hand too ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Pad for applying Tyre Dressings (Yes, Really...) *by M***. on 12 March 2016* When I first purchased this Alclear product I intended to use it for applying polishes/waxes/sealants. However, when I received it the surface of the pad seemed quite course to me and too rough for this purpose, I didn't want to risk potentially scratching the paint (even using very light pressure as suggested) as other foam pads I've used have been much softer. This is still a fantastic pad, one that I've found an 'off-label' use for. I cut the pad in half (using a craft knife), this then made a great tool for applying tyre dressing, the handle providing great grip/control and the straight edge created useful for getting right up to the lip between the tyre and wheel. The design of this applicator has been well thought out, it is made from a strong hard wearing foam that stands up very well, even to continued heavy use. I found using a gel-based tyre dressing applied to the pad first, then spread onto the tyre wall gave fantastic results, although a liquid/aerosol spray dressing could be applied in the same way.
