I ordered the dark blue. The bottom 14-15 inches of the skirt section is royal blue and the fade isn't "wavy" as pictured, but more even across. Plus- there is only a hint of royal blue in the picture... in actuality the bottom part of the dress was solid royal blue. Also - my daughter is 5' tall and she would have had to get at least 12" hemmed off of the bottom of this dress (which would have been nice - to lose some of that bright royal blue). Overall - this dress is not as pictured. The top of the dress fit as expected. Lastly - the style of the top of the dress almost clashed with the bottom half of the dress.
