A lot of auto parts stores sell Permatex anaerobic gasket maker but don't sell this product that is to be used with the gasket maker sealant.

I was very happy with this product. It did exactly what it said it would. I used it on a tractor 3 point mount box under the final drive and no leaks.

Highly recommend.
Had a light fairway mower hydraulic tank repaired. Tried teflon paste on the 1 1/4" threaded strainer bung - leaked soon after filling the tank. Drained the tank and re-sealed the bung using the permatex sealant and the surface prep activator. Been mowing strong for a month and NO leaks. Not even a drip. Also have used on oil pan plugs - no leaks. Wish I would of known about this stuff a LONG time ago. Highly recommend.
