I got the black right shoulder version, but I find that it can be worn on both shoulders without any discomfort or impracticality. The bag is very slim and can be worn very close to the body without affecting my movement. I mainly use it in the fold up mode, and due to how slim it is, you actually can't fit very much in there before it inflates and it feels like it actually starts getting in the way. That's fine for me though since I mostly carry just small necessities day to day. I haven't tried carrying a tablet or laptop in there, but it'll fit if you unzip and expand the bag. I don't think it would be very comfortable though since it's a single strap and I prefer to use a dual strap backpack to distribute the weigh when I'm carrying anything heavy.
