But in retrospect that may be a good thing because some blacks can be so dark that you have to be very cautious not to mess up your eyeshadow look. I am medium-tan and in the swatches I used no primer. I also use daytime lightbulbs. I did go over some of the lighter shades 2-3 times to build the color up. They didn’t apply patchy which was also a big plus (except the white but I hardly use that color). Normal amount of fall out. The colors were soft and the foiled shadows are absolutely gorgeous and only took 1 swatch!!! I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone.
