I've made 30+ quarts of blackberry jam and over a dozen blackberry pies with mine. **Q: I have arthritis in hands, I want something for mashed potatoes, egg salads, etc. Would this or the Oxo Adjustable Ricer be better for me?** A: I have arthritis in my hands. Got rid of my food mill because too hard to push and my fingers hurt badly. This oxo product is so much better. **Q: Will it remove seeds and skin from raw tomatoes?** A: I did not cook my tomatoes before using the mill, and that's exactly what I used it for-- to remove skins and seeds. I dipped the whole tomatoes in scalding water for a minute or two to loosen the skins, but did not cook them. **Q: Has anyone made scuppernong pies or cobblers with this food mill? My present food mill reacted with the fruit and discolored it..** A: I have not made fruit pies or cobblers, but it did not react with tomatoes which are also high acid. I have fermented Muscadine grapes, a variety of Scuppernong in a stainless stock pot with no problems. My guess is your old one was not pure stainless. A good stainless steel will not react. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good sturdy product *by A***R on 19 September 2026* This OXO food mill is very easy to use and excellent at producing passata from my home grown tomatoes. I have never used a vegetable mill before and am really happy with this product. It’s a good price and nice and sturdy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for making sauces and easy to clean *by B***W on 3 August 2026* Very happy with product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will buy more! *by R***A on 24 May 2019* This reminds me of the one that my grandma had and passed over to my mum. It lasted forever and I am sure this one will too. It is sturdy and very stable, easy to mount/demount. It was a revelation that the original way to remove the internal blade was not lost in translation due to all the cheap China stuff around. Worth every penny. 4 stars only because they haven’t thought about fixing the old problem of steel spindle grinding powder coming out down below in the centre when you slightly overload it. ## Frequently Bought Together - OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Food Mill For Purees,Silver - Shining Craft Coffee Syrup Dispenser Bottles Set 2 Pack 7 OZ Simple Small Syrup Bottles Set with Metal Pour Spout Ideal for Coffee Syrups, Condiments, Coffee bar, SC056 (2 pack) - Cuisinart Mesh Strainers, 3 Count (Pack of 1) Set, CTG-00-3MS Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.vu/products/65693530-oxo-good-grips-food-mill](https://www.desertcart.vu/products/65693530-oxo-good-grips-food-mill) --- *Product available on Desertcart Vanuatu* *Store origin: VU* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
