Review: Smaller on the outside - It is a tiny (approximately 7.5 cm tall) plastic model of the Tardis, complete with a light on top of it. Tardis does not make any noises, has no moving parts and is very precisely cast in handsome tardis blue wood-textured plastic with very crisp and detailed phone hatch plaque and St John Ambulance logo. The light on top is extremely strong and requires a CR1632 battery (included). The kit also contains the time line book shown in the product image, but no stickers that are mentioned in the description.

It is a tiny (approximately 7.5 cm tall) plastic model of the Tardis, complete with a light on top of it. This TARDIS model is fully assembled so the word "kit" in the product description is incorrect. It is exceptionally well modelled, with a lot of detail in the wood grain, decals for the writing and even the doorhandles and lock are present. It is 75mm tall, making it pretty much exactly 1:40 scale. The light circuit works well and appears robust, with an LED bulb it should last a while. The "folded timeline" is rather underwhelming. I was hoping for something like a poster that could be put on a wall, bit it is only a little strip of glossy paper with a picture of each of the doctor and a mini fact about one episode each doctor has had where the TARDIS is heavily involved. In addition this TARDIS model is fully assembled so the word "kit" in the product description is incorrect. All in all I am very pleased with this model, it will look great on a shelf and will be very useful for our tabletop games as well.
