The water even seeped into the dial and likely into the electrical circuit. I noticed weird hissing noises, and the indicator light began glitching. Concerned about safety, I unplugged it immediately. After letting it dry for a day, I tried using it again. While the blue indicator light turned on, it never switched to red, and the iron was unable to heat up. I ended up spending $50 on something completely useless.
