I use it for making Jerky. The 4mm cut is perfect. If I have one grumble it would be it’s a little small. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good, sturdy but misses the mark for very fine work *by G***A on 8 March 2024* Only 4 stars as this struggles on the smallest setting with some veg like cucumber. The dicing function is a bit fiddly and doesn’t really dice any quicker than if doing it by hand, and as with all mandolins, it’s a bit of a chore to clean. That being said it’s so sturdy and I have found it much MUCH easier and safer to use than my old work top one! i was initially skeptical as some reviews mentioned the plastic sharding off, this has not happened! I think they are trying to market this as an all in one device which it isn’t, but as a mandolin it is truly excellent. The dicing function would be great For someone with mobility issues perhaps as it doesn’t make dicing veg any less time consuming.
