They are not by any means professional shears. I use them on my shihtzu’s face and paws between her grooming appts. These shears are good but they aren’t as good as the ones my groomer uses, they aren’t as smooth when opening and closing for a fast “chop chop chop” to get that smooth butter finish . But my groomer paid $300 for her shears and buys all her stuff from dog shows. I see on here that groomers are using these for business and it makes me thankful that I have a groomer that invests in high quality tools. She let me try her chunkers at daisys last appt and it blows these out of the water!
