It came with eight rubber pieces not in the parts list with no clue of what they do. This will make Home Depot runs much simpler as I can now haul 4x8 plywood sheets w/o renting a HD pickup. (Update) The eight rubber pieces are optional to use with the clamps to avoid scratching the paint. I did not need them. The top racks fit our 2011 Volvo XC60 perfectly. However, we encountered an issue where one of the locks wouldn't turn to the locked position during installation. We needed to modify the inner plastic to make the lock fit and enable key turning. Once we addressed this lock issue, the top racks became stable, allowing us to install the Yakima SUPDawg.
