I needed something small but with good quality sound. I chose this over all the cheesy $30 sets out there. I have them installed in the bus now, and they sound very good for such small speakers! I wish the swivelly bracket worked a bit smoother but overall I would definitely recommend these speakers. Buy a decent set of bookshelf units you ill be happier. No real range from these, modest volume, and easily distort if pushed. I am also using these in conjunction with a Fusion head unit which is glitchy as well.
