Review: I wanted a box that played files off my NAS. That’s all. This is exactly what I needed. Easy to connect and auto scans folder you point it to for movies and files to play. I started renaming a bunch to fit what it’s looking for and it started getting posters and movie info. Really easy to be a player for backups of physical media. I also work in movie post production and wanted an easy way at to play back projects I worked on. This is also great for that. I can make really high bitrate files and it plays them back with ease. Anything that modern like h264 or h265 content is awesome. I have it set to pass audio through hdmi and that has worked perfectly. It’s an easy way to test atmos projects how they will be streamed.

I wanted a box that played files off my NAS. That’s all. This is exactly what I needed. Easy to connect and auto scans folder you point it to for movies and files to play. Been using this for almost 3 weeks now, and I would say that I’m satisfied with it’s performance. The Tidal app has a bug but other than that this player is a beast!
