The clasp, however, is hard to grip and requires a strong pull to open. I had to remove two links from the band, which wasn’t difficult but requires care. Once removed, the small pin joining the links must be replaced in the same direction with its new link in order to seat correctly. It’s impossible to tell which end of the pin is which, so you must handle it carefully and not let it roll away when pushed out by the tool.
