I used it to tape wire running from my outside security camera to a solar panel to the side of my house. I used the 1/4" size to tape the wire to the bottom edge. It's almost invisible and seems to be very secure. Time will tell how well it weathers, but so far, so good. Be prepared to spend some time separating the backing tape. Man, it's on there! But I guess that's what makes it so strong.
