I bought these magnet bars to replace missing contact sensor magnets. I bought a couple 10 packs of zigbee smart door/window contact sensors on ebay that didn't include the magnets. These matched the length of the contact sensors though I may cut them in half to stretch out the costs. It works great for this purpose.The magnets are very thin and are strong rare earth magnets. Many reviewers of various brands say it's very easy to break them. I dropped the whole brick of all the magnets about a foot onto my desk when I was first separating them and dented one where it landed on a pen.

These magnets are so strong (its insane!). I used them as hidden magnets for a few handbags that I made and they're awesome!

Good strong magnets but too thin and fragile, snap in half like pretzels😲
