Maybe my husband changed the batteries? Not sure.Old review:I just missed the return window for this lantern. I have had Soji lanterns in my yard for years and years. The older ones were pretty durable and lasted several seasons, especially if I changed out the batteries. That is no longer true. This year, I bought 7 Soji lanterns (from different vendors). Two already died and changing the battery did not fix them. This pierced-work blue lantern is especially disappointing as it was more expensive than the standard Soji lanterns (whose fabric covers and construction are much cheezier than the old models). So I hung it up on a tree branch in our back yard and just left it there. It got thrashed through at least 3 wet winters and is still going strong; color got faded a bit but other than that. So one day I was like, "I wonder who made that thing anyway" and so I found the Allsop branding on the little solar panel. Bought two more here on Amazon; they seem a little pricey but based on my experience with the first one I'm expecting them to be worth it. Best of all, my wife noticed the new lanterns right away and she loves them!
