It looks well built and when used for the first time it starts so easily and the cut was very good. The quality of the plastic parts is poor and means that I've had to jam open the throttle to make the mower run and tape down various parts. The drive seems to slip the whole time and won't tackle the slight slope in my garden without pushing it - defeating the concept of a self-drive machine. I needed a new drive belt earlier this year (perhaps because of the non-adjustable slippage) and it took the support people three months and five emails to supply the right item having sent three wrong-sized items during this time. There are better quality (and supported) mowers on the market. Which is correct?** A: I'm not sure to be honest what cc the engine is but the mower cuts the grass at home very well, it's really easy to start and one pull is usually all it takes. However since I purchased the mower less than a year ago I had a major issue with the drive failing. I contacted powergen and for the first 2 weeks I ended up taking the mower to pieces following their technical team's guidance to determine the problem. Not something most people would feel comfortable doing. It was then sent back for repair, nearly2 months before it was returned following a lot of chasing on the phone by myself, I was never updated by powergen throughout the whole time the mower was in for repair. The mower was not usable on return as the throttle cable was damaged. The part was sent out and I carried out the repair myself. It is now broken again following half a dozen uses leading up to the winter. No Manuel on the new EX675i engine only very brief explanation on starting. Put together quite easily as self explanatory. The problem is with the OPC handle. The instructions tell you what to do but it,s wrong. After two hours of frustration and fiddling around called the help line. Very helpful young lady told me to turn the nuts the opposite way and hey presto it started. Choke doubles as a speed control no mention of this l could see in product spec or instructions that makes it obvious. It has 6 cutting heights not seven that's the top model. Once started cut well great to have speed control. Cup holder I didn't fit rather a gimmick. Also came with some oil I wasn't expecting. Good robust machine and quite heavy starts well once OPC sorted.
