The bag is plastic and not resealable which is disappointing as it means it stays open and smells at all times. These do have a strong meaty smell the moment they are opened. The dog loved the smell of them. The are thin and not too tough. An ideal texture and size for a puppy. Our 6 month sprocker spaniel absolutely loves them. 1 in the evening keeps him quiet for a few minutes while he chews. They have added omega 3, vitamins to keep him healthy too which is always a plus. Doggo does have a sensitive tummy but has not had any bad effects from these.
