The best way I can explain oud is that it is like a warm musky woody scent; it kind of smells like sweet warm sweat TBH. This oud scent is present throughout the entire development of the fragrance but its more prevalent towards the middle of that development. Finally, a sweet woody powdery scent takes over for the rest of the fragrance's development: it's soft, warm, and pleasant. When it comes to performance, I got a solid 8+ hours of longevity with a strong sillage for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a strong fragrance and you can easily overdo it. The bottle is kind of weird looking, and cap can be a bit hard to put back on ( it only goes on in one direction.) I have accidentally sprayed a couple of times while trying to put the cap back on.
