A: This is an important question and I did not find the answer on their site so I emailed them.  Their answer was as follows:  
"We do not test any of our products on animals. Not peels, not serums, nor creams.

**Q: does your skin peel?**
A: It doesn't peel my skin. Then again, I must have tough skin because I don't even neutralize it. I just put it on and forget it.  But I'm not recommending that anyone else do that.  I use it to get rid of sun spots.

**Q: Does it help with ice pick scars from acne?**
A: Yes, that was my issue as well.
