The fit for the most 8 month old was perfect and appear that it will last quite awhile! Another thing that makes it an Improvement over the others we have- it snaps, 2 easy snaps. No tying while an impatient hungry one wiggles around and likewise no Velcro that can pull hair and over time collects debris in the fibers. Likely we will be buying at least another!
