It is super soft, inside and out, and the fit is great. I'm typically a medium, but went with a large hoping for just a LITTLE extra room, and got exactly that - a just right amount of extra room, without being too big or bulky. Oh, and I have to add, the length is perfect - the bottom landing just at the hip. So, why not 5 stars? After unpacking the shirt and realizing it had pretty significant crease marks from being folded and packaged, I grabbed my spray bottle and drenched it (I know "Wash Before Wear" but I don't always do it). After a little pull here, and a little tug there, trying to gently smooth those creases, after it dried I noticed those creases remained.
