When it finally came, everything was new and packaged. It was exactly what I needed and worked great. I only wish the set came with a cape. Please read the instructions and watch a few tutorials describing the basic fundamentals of cutting your hair before using it. Use a higher number guide than you usually do since cutting your hair too short is irreversible. It was a little difficult cutting my own hair but I also gave a haircut to my two sons so it has already paid for itself. Cuts smoothly with no snagging providing a haircut exactly like a barber. Oil and a brush is provided to clean and lubricate the trimmer after use. The built in trimmer flips down easily for sideburns, hairline and necklines that I did not use the scissors and comb provided in the set. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have only had it for 2 days and can't vouch for the long term durability of the product. My only regret is not buying this product sooner so my sons and myself could have saved a ton of money on barbershops.
