I spray painted mine over a month ago and it's still tacky. I've never seen anything like it and I've spray painted a LOT of things. I'm going to put a coat of two part epoxy over it to seal everything in. So, I suggest that if you order this (and if you like the pattern, I still recommend it) DO NOT use spray paint. It feels like a rubbery vinyl and you can cut it with a scissors. Very flexible, so it’s easy to shape. You use glue to attach it. The instructions say to only use an oil based paint, but all I had in was an acrylic. Needed two coats of paint, but it’s working! This will become trim on a cardboard holiday fireplace prop which is painted black. The molding will be used to trim out the firebox and the mantle.
