I wanted the Lensmate brand but could not find one for the X-E3. This "Fittest XE3" fits very well - enough that i don't feel the need to tighten down the little allen screw on the top of the thumb rest's hotshot portion. But I did anyway - very lightly - as it does help snug it up just a bit more. Feels nice in the hand when holding the X-E3, and the thumb rest does not touch or rub against the body of the camera. The thumb rest is very light weight, very stiff, and feels strong. I never put a flash on my X-E3 so having the hotshot occupied by this thumb rest is not an issue for me. But if you like to use a flash be sure to have that Allen key with you. The thumb rest will not come off easily (if it's been tightened) without it. Review: Does the job perfectly at half the cost of the "pro"alternative - Fits great and doesn't obscure any buttons or dials like the cheap alternative. Wish it had something non-mettalic underside to avoid the flash contacts, but that problem was easily corrected with a small piece of transparent tape.
