It has very slightly higher rolling friction than the stock freewheel, it will ghost pedal as you roll the bike. It isn't an issue as far as coasting speed, however. It has a good sound, not too loud but definitely audible. Super sturdy, works really well with 1/8 inch chain. I recommend this freewheel, it is a super good value.
