When I bought her first pair my daughter was in between sizes at the time(5-6), so I bought her a 6 of course thinking it will be a little big so it will last her, and it was actually just perfect so they run a little small...HOWEVER, the material is very strechy so even though her feet was growing they would still fit her because the top material streches, but not the bottom part lf course. Other then that i love this shoes, i bought her 2nd pair this time 1 size bigger and they will fit her for a little while. The material ir really good quality, my daughter is very comfortable with them and the designs are so cute and colorful. We have a pool and go to the lake a lot. She normally wears a 13 toddler. So I got the 13.5 - 1.5 option because I didn't want to get them too small. These fit her well. They are slightly too large, but I guess that is expected since I ordered a size up. These are awesome when we are at the lake. I don't have to worry about her little feet stepping on stuff as much. Plus she really likes the design.The sole of the shoe is rubber. The top is very thin and dries very fast after getting out of the water. So far So good. She's a size 7T shoe. We have not used them in the water yet, I hope they wont slip off in water. They're still usable and will still do the job but they're not nearly and cute and as durable as I was hoping.Update (7/2018): I’m adding my stars back... although they initially faded these shoes have out lasted any other water shoes I have got for my kids. I have bought several pairs for my two younger girls and none have held up except for these. I’m now interested in getting another pair for my other child and maybe even a pair for me if I can find them in our size!
