After researching, I was fascinated by the fact that it did actually contain ‘needles’ of skincare, which create micro holes in your skin to allow your skincare to penetrate deeper. For me, it doesn’t really hurt, kind of feels like the old St Ives apricot scrub, the one that was banned because it was made out of pieces of Michelin tires or turtle shell or something. I use a tiny bit twice a week, and it has improved the texture and brightness of my skin when used with my other trove of products. I do have sensitive skin, but this hasn’t caused any flare ups, and aside from a very mild stinging sensation, is pleasant to use. I think I did get one of the milder ones though, so double check before you buy that you’re not going straight for the FaceShredder 3000 and immediately think I’m a massive liar. I think it’s a decent addition to my routine and the price is reasonable. I will repurchase once this runs out, which won’t be any time soon as you only need to use a little every week.
