These are great devices for removing debris from the pool bottom.  The three stars applies ONLY after you remove those silly brushes on the bottom.  The brushes are great if you want to build up your upper body trying to push these around, and don't expect much debris to get between  brushes and into the bag.I would gladly give this device 5 stars (sans brushes) if it and others weren't so cheaply built.  Both the pole and hose attachments are a plastic material.  Metal would be so much stronger.  I ordered this cleaner because the plastic pole attachment broke in half on my last one.Last complaint:  the hose and pole are both attached on the same side of the unit, making it unbalanced---when you push the unit to the pool bottom, the other side flips up instead of going in flat--you need to work to get the cleaner to lay flat on the bottom.  Once it gets there, everything works fine.

Its not to bad. Awkward to use with a regular hose connected to it. One of those slinky hoses would definitely work better for moving it around. Not good for silt or sandBut picks up larger stuff pretty good . Not something you want to have to use everydayBut for 33 bucks it worked ok
