For the past four years I have been using an older beginners reformer which once belonged to my late mother. It was a good introductory machine, but I had reached a point where I really needed something sturdier if I wanted to move forward safely. This is a very sturdy, well built machine. I do not anticipate needing to purchase another reformer in my lifetime.
