Review: Works like I expected. - I was hesitant to try these fridge thermometers because of the mixed reviews. I am very familiar with the operation of these type of devices that communicate/pair with each other so I decided to give them a try. I bought two. Setting them up was easy and on the bench the temps read within 1 deg of all 3 sensors, the remotes and the base unit. I let them sit for a day. They were near other temp devices of a different Brand name. All worked perfect. Installed one in my shop fridge and it has been operational for a week and I see no anomolies. The other one I installed in my Camper, one sensor in the Lithium battery compartment and the other exposed to protected from moisture outside air. Working perfect. The display is a bit dim in low light like others have said. That is ok with me. The other MFG's thermometers that I have are the same way, maybe not quite as dim. The Magnets hold the base unit quite well I currently have 5 other MFG thermometers running around our home and property. I do not use the alarms on any of them. I do pay attention to the base units. Battery install sequence. Go to a place away from any other devices that communicate like these units. 50' away is enough. Check your battery voltages before installing them. 1.6+ volts! If not get another. I use good alkaline batteries like Duracell etc. Never have had an issue with the freezer section of my fridges and freezers. Batteries into the base unit first. Check that the display is on. Install batteries in one sensor. Within about 2 seconds the red led should flash. The Base unit should display the temp of that sensor. If it does not... Remove the batteries from both and wait about 30 seconds and repeat the sequence. If all is ok then do the other sensor. I will return and re-review if I have an issue with these units. I like the price! Ok, 1.5 years and they both are working great. I did replace the batteries in one unit but the other batteries are still good. One unit is for the fridge and freezer and the other is in my motorhome. One sensor is for the battery compartment and the other is in the gray/black tank area. Jim.
Review: I would buy again, great customer service - Works great. This is my second one. I had some issues with the first one, called the company and had a replacement the next day. They did not even make me return the bad one.I will buy from this company again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How far is it transmission range?**
A: Package claims it is good for 100 meters unobstructed - but it's inside a freezer, so obviously it's obstructed. I thought it was working but discovered the freezer had quit and the unit, which was about 30' from the freezer, hadn't picked up a signal for a couple of days, probably - it was still reporting the temp at 4 F and the actual temp was 35 F. Worse than nothing because I thought it was okay. Base unit should be designed to alert if it hasn't picked up a signal within the previous 2 hours. . .

**Q: Can I use this as an indoor outdoor thermometer? For example use one wireless for outdoor and another for garage temp?**
A: I don't see why that wouldn't work - just watch the distance between base and sensors. I'm only using one sensor right now that is inside my freezer a floor below the base station. No problems - it tracks current, min & max temps and is easy to clear and restart.

**Q: Can I set this alarm to alert if the temperature goes below 70F? I want to use it to monitor the temperature in my baby’s room**
A: Of course my dear friend. Indoor Temperature range: -10℃～60℃(14℉～140℉). Outdoor Temperature range: -40℃～60℃(-40℉～140℉) Temperature test period: 10s. You can set the alarm alert temperature by yourself. If you have any other question, you can contact with me through the e-mail at any time: oriausa@foxmail.com. Thank you for your patience.

**Q: Can anything be done about the loose springs that hold the batteries in place? Thanks**
A: AA batteries in sender unit
AAA in base

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would buy again, great customer service

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well But Alarm Could Be Louder
*by S***E on May 15, 2020*

Updated Review: The sellers responded promptly with instructions on how to fix the problem. The main issue is that it takes 30 minutes or more after initial set up for the sensors to register with the main unit. Also, it takes quite a while for the sensors to get down to the right temperature- significantly longer than a normal refrigerator thermometer. But given time, the readings seem pretty accurate. I'm taking off one star because this info should have been in the instructions- I shouldn't have had to contact the seller. Also, the alarm could be louder. I'm using it in a basement freezer and I can hear it faintly in some rooms of the main house, but not others. I think it will do, but am puzzled about why they don't make these freezer alarms louder. After all, if you are purchasing a freezer alarm, it's probably to use in your garage or basement. You don't really need one in your kitchen fridge as you can tell when the power is out. ************************** Original Review: I just received this product today and neither sensor works at all. I contacted the seller for help, and will update this review if the problem is fixed.
