We used to live in an all carpeted home but around a year ago we moved to an all tile house. From day one in the new house my old boy has has a slippery time. I followed many peoples suggestions and trimed the pads to just the toe areas and then put em on his paw pads which was kinda hard to do only because he doesnt like ppl touching his paws. After I put em on him I went to the other side of the room to call for him and he just yelped for assistance. I told him no he gotta try to get up on his own. He struggled to get up but got up the fastest ive seen him in a while then he walked to me slowly, no slipping. Let me tell you that after he did that little walk to me and realized he wouldnt slip he had such a confidence boost!! He dang tried running! He didnt fall or nothing, hes had them on for 2 days now a few have falled off and im gonna replace em soon but hes been walking around all day long, hoping and light running here and there. We have a 12ish year old Pitbull mix, who weighs around 55 lbs. We got XL size.
