These shoes are well padded and feel light. The soles are especially comfortable for their design shape. The heels and toes are curved just right for walking or running. Inside is soft and the padding is also cozy.Comparing to 8 other shoes purchased from elsewhere, these are the best, even though made in China which seems to annoy some. The soles are long lasting, long wearing element of which I am not knowledgeable of other than it is not the cheap type. These grip in slippery surfaces such as moldy wet wood decks.The room inside is perfect and allows for use of padding if you want. I may add just heel cushions so I can walk for hours, not miles per hour due to my laziness. These flex well when stooping. Also has good ventilation and breath well.They are a handsome set and the laces are oval with side stitching. I can wear out the best of shoes in less than a year, but these shoes are wearing out at a rate that even astonished me. First the top eyelet tore through within 6 weeks. Fortunately there are a second set of eyelets set a little deeper in the shoe so the shoes were not totally ruined. I am on my second set of shoe laces. The first lasted about 4 months, and they have developed a hole in the upper where the upper has torn away from the sole. So you might be wondering why three stars instead of one. These shoes are very comfortable. They fit my wide feet we'll and when new looked great. If you are easy on shoes, these will likely be a great shoe for you.
