## Description

For years, experienced hobbyists have hailed Zhumell's Dobsonian telescopes as a top choice for serious amateur astronomy. Now, stargazers of all ages can experience the night sky through Zhumell optics--at a price that fits a beginner's budget. This compact 60mm offers enough light gathering ability to view Jupiter, Saturn, the Orion Nebula, craters on the Moon, and more. Plus, with the Zhumell 60mm AZ Refractor Telescope, you'll always be ready to view passing comets and other celestial events like the ""Blood Moon."" Getting started with the Zhumell 60AZ couldn't be easier. The telescope comes together in just a couple of minutes, and a detailed instruction manual guides you through the basics of viewing the night sky. Includes all the accessories you need Some entry-level telescopes keep costs down by cutting down on essential accessories. But with the Zhumell 60AZ, you get everything you need--and even a few creature comforts. Along with the 60mm optical tube, this kit contains a full-height aluminum tripod with accessory tray, two Kellner eyepieces (25mm/low power and 10mm/high power), and a 2x Barlow lens that doubles the power of each eyepiece for even more magnification! You'll also receive a red dot finderscope, an uncommon upgrade at this price point. This intuitive finderscope projects a red LED dot onto its glass window. Simply look through the window and place the dot on top of the object you wish to view. From there, it will be centered in the eyepiece. For beginners, this is simply the best tool to get you started navigating the night sky. Even with all these accessories, the entire telescope kit is lightweight, portable and easy to take to dark sky sites or pack along on family camping trips. Get ready to expand your view on the Universe with Zhumell!

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent telescope for the price.
*by E***D on January 20, 2022*

The only thing I do not like is the Barlow lens. It gives a poor image. But for the 60 dollars I paid for the telescope, I can't complain. The optics are very good, the eyepieces are decent and the finder scope is great. It's also lightweight and very portable. Easy to assemble out of the box. Built quality good for the price. The image is very sharp with minimal color aberration. The Moon looks very good, with lots of surface detail and contrast. Jupiter shows two cloud bands and the four Galilean moons as dots of light. Saturn shows the rings and its biggest moon Titan as a faint but visible dot. I could see the Orion nebula as a faint green cloud with the trapezium stars resolved. The Pleiades look beautiful. For land use it gives you a correct image (not inverted or mirror). Conclusion: for 60 mm of aperture and the price, you can't go wrong with this telescope.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Reflector For Someone On A Budget
*by A***R on September 22, 2020*

I had been into astronomy in the past, but my old equipment had been banged up through a couple moves over the last 2 decades. I tried fixing my main scope, but it had a couple scratches on both mirrors(not sure how). Just couldn't get good clear images. I was looking to get back into sky watching, especially planets, but I didn't want to invest a ton up front and then it end up sitting in a closet for the next 2 decades like my old scope. This scope is awesome. Especially for viewing the planets(Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Moon). Just with the 2 eyepieces provided(which are actually really good for provided eyepieces on a budget scope) were enough for very good viewing. I have some more expensive eyepieces that weren't any better at all. The Barlow is the only weak spot. It's just "ok". For less than $50 you can get a much better one. This scope brings in just enough light, but not too much. Using the 10mm, the included barlow, and no filters, I could easily make out the cloud bands on Jupiter, and a little separation in the rings of Saturn. This scope really REALLY gave me what I originally wanted in astronomy. Now all I want is MORE!!! Next stop, 8" or 10" dobsonian. Thank you Zhumell. Here is a little after thought: One thing to keep in mind though. Reflector style telescopes are not the best starter scope for impatient people or kids. You will have to align the mirrors. This one came almost perfect, but after a couple car rides, it definitely needed adjustment. For the best starter for a kid, get a refractor. 70mm+. And buy better eyepieces for it. They like to send you a 20mm or 25mm and a 4-6mm in most base setups. The 20-25 is only good for finding where you want to start, and the 4-6mm is WAY too strong and small scopes don't bring enough light for that at all. The sweet spot is 10mm-15mm. This scope at 10mm is absolutely awesome. You have to realize most of these pictures you see on the internet or TV are images that have been "stacked"(many exposures taken by a large expensive scope and then stacked by a computer program to fill in the detail), or artificially colored. You will never see color looking with your naked eye through a telescope. Stacking images brings out the colors. That being said, the first time I saw Saturn in this scope with the 10mm, it was awe inspiring. I love this little scope for planet viewing. There is only 1 real con with this size reflector, and most small refractors under 80mm. Anything beyond planet viewing(nebula/galaxy/deep space) is garbage. It doesn't bring in enough light. For that you need a 5"+ short or 8" long reflector.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good starter kit
*by E***Y on December 28, 2022*

Overall I like it. View finder laser was off (but so was my last scope). Easy views of moon, and doubler lens helped zoom in where moon was larger than the field of vision, which was nice. This kit requires manual maneuvering at the connection level, meaning there's no fine tuning at the tripod for positioning. This isn't a complaint, just pointing out for those making a comparison to higher end kits with an upgraded attachment to the tripod.
