Review: Nice hive for the money. - The hive is nice. Super easy to put together. Took maybe all of an hour and a half thats hive body and frames. Excited to use it. The wax is kind of tacky.
Review: Hard to assemble - This hive has great quality material. The wood is thick and strong the wax coating is thick and even. The only thing I had trouble with was the dove tail joints were out of tolerance. I had to use a knife and sand paper to take off a bit of wood from the joints and to hammer them together with a rubber mallet. It was a bit more time consuming to do have to do that. I hope they fix that because I plan to order again in the future. The quality was exceptional and the price was good. The rest of the assembly went smoothly and the hive came with a mouse guard that I didn’t notice when I ordered.

**Q: Can I add more supers to this down the road?**
A: Hi, I got this about 2 weeks ago and have it assembled and it is very nice. But no bees in it yet. I would say yes I would be able to had supers to it down the road if I wanted, but I would assume I would need to buy from the same manufacturer so the size matches up. Also the nails it came with started to split the wood so my husband used smaller ones, just FYI. But I love it and can’t wait to get my bees in April! Hope this info helps!

**Q: Which stand are you using with this hive? Thx**
A: I used a solid top wooded pallet with 4 large steel washer to raise hive in four corners to prevent wood on wood contact.
