It appears to be well made. I bought a large one as I like my over jackets to be 'comfortable' , for most clothes, I wear a uk size 14 and this jacket is snug around the hips leaving me to wish I had bought a larger size, I do feel that it is smaller than described on their size guide. My only other gripe with this is that there aren't many pockets, the ones there are are nicely finished and blend well with the style of the jacket, I would have liked a 'map' pocket in the jacket, the jacket is designed for winter sports, so I guess they don't need maps?!
