What I can tell you is that a Vet recommended Royal Canin 16 yrs ago and I’ve always fed my kids this food. They have always maintained their weight, health, and vitality. **Q: Is there a clear picture of the indgredients in this type of cat food...I cant remember if it has by product listed? unlike Science diet's mature cat)** A: Royal Canin has their own website which will have the info you are looking for. You may need a hypoallergenic version and they have several offerings. Hypoallergenic items, just like if you buy it at a vet, runs $75-$90 for a 6-8 lb bag.
