My wife has actually started using hers to carry her ID in at work. They're a lanyard with the quick snap at the back, which I like. The card holder is just your average plastic holder you'll get with pretty much any standard quality lanyard, so it holds up to your typical wear and tear. Some of the reviews talk about the images being a little blurry, but I think that has more to do with the material of the lanyard than the actual pictures themselves.
